Artist Studios at Fearrington Village is a community of visual artists and fine craftspersons who have come together to support one another, promote our art, open our studios and share our vision of Fearrington Village as an arts destination. Many of the artists welcome visitors to their studios by appointment and during our annual Open Studio Tour.

Marcelle Harwell Pachnowski at the Bean & Barrel in Governor's Village
Come on out Saturday, December 8th to the Bean & Barrel in Governor's Village for an evening of Marcelle Harwell Pachnowski painting with "live" musicians from 9-11pm.
There will also be a "push pin show" of numerous paintings on paper that have been created with "live" musicians by Marcelle on display at the same time. Marcelle paints to the music and interprets it visually through the use of mixed media (acrylics applied with a palette knife, pastels, conte crayons and colored pencils). This interpretation is a visceral, intutitive response to the music that is also created in an improvisational atmosphere.
