Open Studio Media Preview Tour

Fearrington Village Artists are busy getting ready for our First Annual Open Studio Tour on Sat. April 11th and Sun. April 12th. To help us share the excitement and get the word out we are inviting journalists, art bloggers and art supporters to a special preview tour of 5 studios within the community on Sat. March 7th.

Exhibit at The Gathering Place: Artist's Showcase: ASFV Studio Tour Artists March 14th - April 30. Tour artists bring artwork, ready to hang at 9:30am March 14th. Artwork is available for purchase. Contact the artists.  

All ASFV Members Meeting, Gathering Place, Saturday, March 14th at 11am-12:30pm Membership is open to all artists who create original fine art/crafts and live in Fearrington Village.

Planning a visit to Fearrington Village?

Artist Studios of Fearrington Village is a community of visual artists who have come together to support one another, promote our art, open our studios and share our vision of Fearrington Village as an arts destination. We represent the full range of artistic experience, from those who have made art their lifetime career to newcomers exploring the inroads of their visual talents. Our media of choice is varied. We are painters, woodworkers, sculptors, print makers…

Join us, Saturday,  April 11, (10-5pm) and Sunday April 12, (12-5pm) for our First Annual Artist Studios at Fearrington Village Open Studio Tour, where the resident artists are inspired and thrilled to call Fearrington Village home. Many of our studios are also open by appointment.

Enjoy the Fearrington Village gardens; stop in at McIntyre’s Books, lunch at The Belted Goat, a delightful deli; have Sunday Brunch or dinner at The Fearrington Granary (reservations are not required but are recommended) and discover a little bit of heaven.

Blog Gone Crazy

Dear Fearrington Artists blog followers,

Our blog had a hiccup this afternoon... while I was out... it sent you an old post...one from Sept. 18, 2013.  "Art in Village Autumn 2013".  Did Blogger forget to send this post out more than a year ago and suddenly got caught up?    Did Blogger time travel... returning to 2013? 

I am holding my breath --my time-tested cure for hiccups-- hoping that you will continue to follow the Fearrington Artists Blog and share our anticipation and excitement for the  upcoming Artist Studios at Fearrington Village's First Annual Studio Tour. April 11 and 12.  

The last post was created on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015. It appear as it should in my email inbox and hopefully in yours... but if not here is the link.
